17 Sept 2023In this application note, Kbiosystems introduces the Ultraseal CAP-LITE unit, a manual applicator designed for microplates and tube rack mat caps. This unit utilizes pre-formed silicon mats or cap arrays, which are manually placed onto the plate's top surface. To create a removable seal on the plate, users push a draw section closed just below the manual pull bar. Subsequently, this assembly is pressed down onto the cap and plate to establish the seal. Depending on the specific plate and tube rack dimensions, adjustments for plate height spacing may be required, accommodating a range from 9 mm to 48 mm for SBS plate and tube racks.
