Enhanced Electrophoresis Performance with Type I Ultrapure Water

21 Sept 2011

This application note describes a method of achieving consistent, reliable electrophoresis. A key requirement for electrophoresis is the use of water that does not contain any significant levels of biologically active molecules such as endotoxins, nucleases and proteases. Apyrogenic Type I ultrapure water is designed for use in enhancing electrophoresis. This note includes the importance of purifying water for eletrophoresis, and a section on Ultraviolet (UV) radiation.
