Determination of N-Methylpyrrolidine in Cefepime with Nonsuppressed Conductivity Detection

5 Oct 2010

This application note describes the determination of NMP by cation-exchange chromatography with nonsuppressed conductivity detection. The results meet the USP criteria for Organic Impurities, Procedure 1 (Limit of N-Methylpyrrolidine) in the proposed methods for cefepime hydrochloride9 and Cefepime for Injection.
