Detection of HMT G9a with the Transcreener® EPIGEN Methyltransferase Assay
14 Jan 2015This application note will serve as a guide for using the Transcreener® EPIGEN MethyltransferaseAssay to detect the initial velocity enzyme activity of HMT G9a with an assay window suitable for inhibitor screening and dose response measurements. It should be used as an adjunct to the Transcreener EPIGEN MT Assay.

Genome AnalysisGenomics, the study of genomes, includes functional genomics, evolutionary genomics and comparative genomics. There are many genomic technologies such as DNA sequencing of whole genomes, computational biology and bioinformatics. DNA and nucleic acids must be isolated and concentrated from cells for analysis with kits, automated analyzers and software. Other useful technologies for studying genomics include PCR, microarrays and electrophoresis.MethylationHigh ThroughputHigh throughput experiments allow the simultaneous processing of several samples. This parallelization reduces the cost per experiment and increases reproducibility and output volume of data.
