Cooling a 20 Liter Reactor Using the JULABO PRESTO® A80

18 Feb 2015

This case study tests the cooling power of JULABO PRESTO® A80 with a 20 liters glass reactor. The A80 is connected to the reactor via two 2.0 m metal tubing. The A80 is programmed to cool down from -30 °C to -60 °C.

Baths and CirculatorsLaboratory baths and circulators are capable of refrigerating and heating to meet the demands of any temperature controlled application.Refrigerators Freezers and CryogenicsRefrigerators, Freezers & Cryogenics can be used for preservation or experimental purposes. Types of freezers include deep freeze, -80C°C, ultra-low temperature, explosion proof, cryogenic and controlled rate freezers. Freezing is also used in freeze-drying equipment for dehydration processes. Feature to consider in freezers include temperature control and recorders, failure alarms and self-closing mechanisms.Temperature ControlTemperature controlled processes are experiments carried out using ovens, furnaces, incubators, hotplates, refrigeration and freezers.
