Convenient Application of Gaseous Reagents with the Anton Paar Multiwave PRO
28 Mar 2016This application note demonstrates the benefits of using gaseous reagents when performing trace analysis and synthetic chemistry. Significantly less gas is needed when using a microwave assisted setup and the work-up is significantly facilitated when using reagents in a gaseous state. The big disadvantage of applying gases so far has been the handling and the preparative setup, which has been necessary in such processes. However, with the gas loading set for Multiwave PRO, the application of gaseous reagents is no longer an issue.
