Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) measurements are used primarily to determine the thermal and/or oxidative stabilities of materials as well as their compositional properties. It is especially useful for the study of polymeric materials, including thermoplastics, thermosets, elastomers, composites, films, fibers, coatings and paints.
