Characterization of biomolecular interactions using Alto

14 Mar 2025

Label-free biomolecular interaction analysis is essential for biologics development, but conventional systems often require large sample volumes, skilled personnel, and complex fluidics prone to reliability issues. Nicoya’s Alto overcomes these challenges with digital microfluidics and integrated LSPR sensors, enabling label-free analysis in sub-microliter droplets. This application note shows that Alto delivers kinetic and affinity results matching a traditional SPR platform, using just 1% of the sample and requiring less than 30 minutes of hands-on time, making it a highly efficient, user-friendly tool for biologics discovery.
