6 Feb 2023In the past three decades, methods for sequencing nucleic acids have improved significantly in speed and accuracy. Despite the technological advances in sequencing, preparation of libraries for Next-generation sequencing (NGS) remains a tedious process. In this application note, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences demonstrates that the automated processing on the Biomek NGeniuS Next Generation Library Prep System is equivalent to the manual preparations at input concentration of 200 ng (gDNA) and 200 ng (FFPE DNA). The hands-on time for processing is reduced, handling errors are reduced, and the interactions/touchpoints are reduced.
