Automated Volumetric Karl Fischer Titration

22 Sept 2016

This Application Bulletin provides information on the MATi 11 system (MATi = Metrohm Automated Titration). MATi 11 is a completely configured system used for the automated volumetric Karl Fischer titration for the water content determination in liquid or solid samples.

MATi 13 system

Metrohm AG

Automated system for the determination of the permanganate index, according to DIN EN ISO 8467. Up to 24 samples can be placed on the rack and processed in a series. The sample is pipetted from the sample beaker to the external titration cell and fully automatically analyzed according to the DIN standard. After titration, the external titration cell is thoroughly cleaned by the sample changer's built-in membrane pumps. The system is controlled by tiamo™, the titration software. The system consists of: 1 x 814 USB Sample Processor 1 x 907 Titrando 1 x 801 Magnetic stirrer 1 x 786 Swing Head 3 x 800 Dosino 6.9915.078 Holder to transfer tubing 25 mL 6.9915.079 Transfer tubing 25 mL with 2 x M8 to 6.9915.078 The thermostat for heating the external titration vessel must be ordered separately.
