Studying the plasma proteome within blood-based samples is known to be a challenge. In this application note, Agilent presents an easily applicable plasma proteomic workflow. The protocol benefits from a straightforward sample preparation workflow provided by the PreOmics iST Kit, a single-run liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) proteomic workflow that promises to enable reproducible quantitative analysis of hundreds of plasma proteomes.
