Assembly and Pharmacological Validation of a Fully Kinetic 96-well In Vitro Vascular Tube Formation Assay
13 Feb 2015In vitro models of vascular tube formation are valuable tools for probing the complex signalling pathways of angiogenesis. This study shows the development of the fibroblast and human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) co-culture model into a facile, robust, flexible and fully kinetic 96-well paradigm. This approach is amenable to screening of small molecules, biologics and gene-interference reagents (e.g. siRNA, miRNA).
