Analysis of Murine Th17 Cytokine Profiles Using Bio-Plex Pro Mouse Th17 Panel
14 Jun 2011IL-17 producing T helper cells (Th17) are a new subset of T helper cells found to be associated with autoimmunity such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis and lupus. In mice, Th17 differentiation and expansion is regulated by various cytokines. This application note describes validation studies for 11 new mouse cytokine assays for Th17 studies. The assays were validated with mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture matrices. Validation criteria include assay working range, sensitivity, intra- and inter-assay precision, specificity and cross reactivity.
