Analysis of Light Crude Oil using GC—HR ToFMS

In this study, various light crude oil samples were analyzed for aromatic, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon and heterocyclic compounds. These compounds were characterized using a combination of elemental formula determinations with exact mass calculations and spectral library similarity searches. High performance TOFMS provided a comprehensive profile of samples.
