Viscofan BioEngineering manufactures unique collagen products for cell biology research and biomedical development. Building on 85 years of experience, we specialize in extracting strong and native collagen type I fibers and develop innovative tools for tissue engineering or regenerative medicine such as suturable and biocompatible membranes as implantable cell carriers, native cell culture matrices, coatings, etc. Providing many products in both, R&D- and medical grade quality, we facilitate the bench-to-bedside-transfer of approaches developed by our customers and also work on novel regenerative therapies ourselves.
