The LUNA-BX7™ offers an affordable high performance automated cell counter with brightfield optics only. It’s a top tier high throughput cell counter with compliance capabilities at a budget-friendly price. Based on the footprint of the award-winning LUNA-FX7™, the LUNA-BX7™ is equipped with the same small footprint, state of the art optics, advanced software, and features including daily quality control and compliance.

For a more eco- and user-friendly dye option, Erythrosin B Stain is a nontoxic and safe vital dye used to assess cell viability.

Used in fluorescence cell counting, Acridine Orange/Propidium Iodide Stain (AO/PI), Acridine Orange Stain (AO), and Propidium Iodide Stain (PI) are used to assess cell viability. Acridine Orange/Propidium Iodide Stain causes viable nucleated cells to fluoresce green and nonviable nucleated cells to fluoresce red.

The QUANTOM™ M50 Cell Counting Slides are disposable slides designed for use with the QUANTOM Tx™ Microbial Cell Counter. These slides are made with quality materials that allow for optimal fluorescence detection ensuring accurate and reliable bacterial/microbial cell counts.
