Safeguard your samples when storing in liquid or vapor phase nitrogen, or when shipping samples. These cryogenic storage accessories, such as tube wraps, sleeves and mini-boxes, have safe handling in mind.
If you want to submerge your cryotubes in the liquid phase of nitrogen, seal them first inside Nunc™ Cryoflex™ tubing to prevent liquid nitrogen from infiltrating the tube. Cryoflex™ tubing can used to crimp and heat shrink an impenetrable safety skin around the tube prior to submersion.
Nalgene™ CryoSleeves™ slide over any Nunc or Nalgene Cryocane and prevent tubes from falling out of the cryocane and into the bottom of the liquid nitrogen dewar. Nalgene™ CryoSleeves™ do not prevent infiltration of liquid nitrogen.
Cryogenic tubes mounted in the cane must first be sealed inside Cryoflex™ tubing prior to applying the CryoSleeve™ if liquid phase submersion is required.
