The Sf9 HCP 3G Solution for Gyrolab® combines reagnets from Cygnus Technologies with the Gyrolab Bioaffy™ 4000 HC Assay Toolbox for detection of HCP from insect derived Sf9 cells. Sf9 cells provides an alternative to the HEK293 cell line for AAV production, employing a baculovirus expression vector system instead of plasmid transfection. Sf9 cells are more suitable for large-scale, high-density, serum-free suspension cultures, although it remains imperative to monitor and minimize host cell protein impurities to ensure therapeutic efficacy and stability. The HCP Solution for Gyrolab Assay Reagent Set uses the same antibodies and antigen from the Cygnus 3rd generation Sf9 HCP ELISA Kit, for a simple to use, fully automated, semi-quantitative assay run on the Gyrolab microfluidic immunoassay platform. The assay provides over 3 logs dynamic range with a turnaround time of 100 minutes.
