I wish I could have more money to buy all the kits we use in our lab from Zymo

We did not know about zymo products until we saw it in papers more and more often. We decided to purchase it with a grant we had. It is a little expensive but it is worth it. Super fast extraction, great results. We did several extractions from the same sample (in Shield) and the results were always the same. Excellent product.

The Quick-RNA™ Viral and Quick-DNA/RNA™ Viral Kits provide for rapid isolation of high-quality viral nucleic acids from a wide range of biological sources. It can be used to successfully isolate from cell-free body fluids as well as cellular suspensions. The kit has been rigorously tested and used to isolate viral nucleic acids from samples containing enteroviruses, rhinoviruses, coronaviruses, HIV, HCV, influenza A virus, flaviviruses, measles virus, parainfluenza virus and parvovirus (a ssDNA virus).
