Phenotypic differences of eukaryotic cells upon treatment
The livecyte is a very user-friendly piece of equipment, which can generate a ton of data. The morphometric analysis of the cells reflects to their physiology and this instrument can reveal aspects that were not known or identified before. It is easy to use and the support team are very helpful and they work by their customers to develop it further according to their needs. Livecyte® is a live cell imaging system that changes what is possible to measure in live cell assays.
Combining patented quantitative phase imaging (QPI) technology “Ptychography” with the ability to acquire up to seven correlative fluorescence channels makes Livecyte the most versatile QPI platform on the market. QPI produces high contrast images which are ideal for automated single cell segmentation and tracking. This enables users to automatically quantify many different forms of cell phenotypic behaviour, intermittently acquire fluorescence expression, all whilst minimising phototoxicity.
