The BRAND^® HandyStep^® S repeating pipette offers complete versatility in a purely mechanical pipette.

It features an ergonomic slim, lightweight design with improved corrosion resistance. The convenient volume selection wheel allows easy one-handed volume adjustment. A convenient dual-sided tip selection chart assists in finding the right-sized tip for your desired volume. The design provides a comfortable grip for people of all hand sizes. A proven piston locking/filling lever is combined with a tip ejection button for easy, contact-free removal of PD-Tip^™ syringe tips.

Nine dispense settings, combined with 10 sizes of PD-Tip™ syringe tips provides 59 different volume settings. The open design of the HandyStep^® S also allows for the use of third party tips – no more being locked into a sole source!

A convenient dual-sided tip selection chart assists in finding the right-sized tip for your desired volume. The design provides a comfortable grip for people of all hand sizes.

Dispensette® S Organic Bottletop Dispensers

Ideal for HPLC and combinatorial chemistry labs, the Dispensette® S Organic Bottletop Dispensers from BrandTech Scientific build on fifty years of leadership in dispensing technology. The newly designed instruments have such advanced features as improved safety valves, faster priming, easier volume selection, and even lower operation forces. All seals have been eliminated to have even less wearing parts to replace over time. The Dispensette S Organic features a special version of BRAND's proven "floating" piston system specially suited for organic solvents, concentrated acids and peroxides. Features: Handles critical solvents: The Dispensette S Organic handles your critical solvents: THF, TFA, methanol, acetonitrile, methylene chloride, DMF and DMSO. The instrument is also the right choice for HNO3 and HCl, and peroxides, but is not suited for alkaline solutions or hydrochloride salts. Enhanced safety features: The Dispensette S Organic adds this specialized chemical compatibility to the familiar safety and convenience features of the popular Dispensette S, including reinforced discharge tube with threaded safety cap, recirculation valve to conserve solvents and reduce "spurting" while priming, safety discharge system to reduce the chance of inadvertent dispensing, and telescoping filling tube and thread adapters to fit to most lab bottles. Available in digital and analog models: The Dispensette S Organic comes in analog and digital models with bright yellow trim for easy identification. Accessories are available for serial and drum dispensing. Limitations of use: The parts of the Dispensette S Organic which come into contact with the liquid are made of high-grade materials such as ETFE, PTFE, PFA, borosilicate glass, FEP and tantalum. The Dispensette S Organic should not be used with any liquids that attack these materials.

Dispensette® S Trace Analysis Bottletop Dispenser

The BRAND® Dispensette® S Trace Analysis bottletop dispenser is designed for dispensing high-purity chemicals for trace analysis. With a fluid path composed of materials such as PFA, PTFE and sapphire, the Dispensette S Trace Analysis can be used for analysis in the PPB and PPT range. With a volume range of 1-10mL the Dispensette S Trace Analysis is available in two different models, depending on the reagents and testing performed; one with valve springs constructed of platinum-iridium, and one with tantalum springs. The platinum-iridium version is also suitable for dispensing of hydrofluoric acid. The instrument features many of the safety and convenience features of other Dispensette S models such as a removable recirculation valve. The wiping seal dispensing cartridge helps maintain reagent integrity, and can be easily replaced by the user. Replacements are supplied with quality certificate. An optional flexible discharge tube (not for HF) facilitates serial dispensing.

BRAND PLT™ Pipette Leak Testing Unit

The BRAND PLT™ Pipette Leak Tester provides a quick daily functional check of air displacement pipettes. By ruling out leakage, the cause of most pipetting inaccuracy, it provides an extra level of assurance between instrument calibrations. An entirely new class of device, the PLT™ quantifies leakage from the entire pipette system and provides a simple PASS/FAIL result for all common brands and sizes of pipettes. PASS/FAIL criteria are based on data generated over 35 years, failing instruments will exhibit gravimetrically detectable errors. Instruments can be tested with or without tips, statically or dynamically, providing diagnostic assistance in case of pipette failure. Testing takes only seconds, intuitive menu-driven software combined with a jog-wheel and affirmative/negative buttons, makes it easy to select the correct test parameters. An optional four channel adapter allows for rapid testing of multichannel pipettes. Integrated self-diagnostics ensure reliable results.

Amber Bottles for Light Sensitive Products and Samples

For general use or providing protection of light sensitive products and samples, our amber bottles are constructed of soda-lime glass and have a space-saving square design. The ethylene-acrylate coating envelops the glass bottle like a protective skin providing better protection. Should the bottle break, the splintering hazards are reduced considerably. The maximum operating temperature for coated bottles is 80°C. To preserve the coating, do not clean at temperatures exceeding 60°C. Each bottle comes with a PP Screw Cap and LDPE Pouring Ring and is available as 250mL, 500mL, and 1000mL.
