PacBio Iso-Seq and Kinnex automation protocols were developed in support of the 1000 Genomes Long Read Project, aiming to produce Iso-Seq data for 1000 diverse samples from the 1000 Genomes cohort. This effort is led by Danny Miller, MD, PhD, Evan Eichler, PhD, at the University of Washington, and Rajiv McCoy, PhD at Johns Hopkins University with support from PacBio and SPT. This open-access dataset will serve as a foundational resource for interpreting gene expression, alternate splicing, and regulatory elements.
