This device is so easy to use that everyone in the lab wants to put it in their incubator! We have diverted the common use to follow the development of bovine embryos in vitro. This allows us to detect cell divisions without having to take the culture dishes out of the incubator, which is an advantage for embryo survival.

The open design of the CytoSMART Lux2 allows users to image any transparent culture vessel, including culture flasks, well plates, petri dishes and microfluidic chips. It’s rapid recording interval makes the CytoSMART Lux2 extremely suitable for live-cell imaging of cells cultured inside lab-on-a-chip platforms or micro Total Analysis Systems (µTAS).
