Description
axoCells Human iPSC-Derived Astrocytes (≥1 million cells) for neuroscience research. Astrocytes made from iPSCs which were generated from a newborn male donor's cord blood.
Key highlights include:

- Express the key markers (GFAP and S100B) with low expression of Nestin (an NSC marker) and MAP2 (a neuronal marker)
- Demonstrated functionality in advanced in vitro models including co-culture and tri-culture
These cells are optimized for co-culture with neurons and neuroinflammatory cells for advanced in vitro models of Alzheimer’s Disease and ALS.
