AttractSPE Disks are based upon polymeric sorbents dedicated to sample cleanup for the extraction of compounds from complex mattrices. AttractSPE Disks are thin and uniform membranes designed for extraction, purification, and concentration of analytes from large volume liquid and air samples. AttractSPE Disks have smaller particle size of the sorbent material that will allow for much higher flow rates during sample loading. This feature makes them well suited for environmental applications. AttractSPE Disks BioMol are specifically manufactured for biological applications such as microextractions used in staged tips, 96 well plates and mini-SPE.
AttractSPE™ Disks for analysis of perfluorinated compounds in large volumes of water
AFFINISEP designed AttractSPE™ Disks as an innovative solution to speed up the analysis of large water volumes with a solid phase extraction disk format. This application note describes the analysis of perfluorinated compounds according to EPA 537.1 in large water volumes. In this work, AttractSPE™ Disks SDB-XC and AttractSPE™ Disks HLB were used. HLB (hydrophilic lipophilic balance) is a SDB-like sorbent that is modified to also catch polar molecules, making it more effective in capturing the smaller PFCs.
