Xylem Showcases its Analytics Brands and Analytical Solutions at Pittcon 2013

Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company, will showcase their portfolio of strong industry brands and comprehensive analytical solutions at Pittcon 2013. The newest brand in the portfolio will also be on display at Pittcon, as Xylem continues to grow its analytics offering with the acquisition of MJK Automation. MJK will enhance Xylem’s expertise in ground, surface and wastewater measurement and analysis.

Xylem Analytics lab, field and online capabilities will be shown in booth #1449 at Pittcon at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania March 18 - 21.

Xylem will demonstrate their comprehensive solutions and focused market approach at Pittcon 2013, rolling out a number of new products across multiple brands. Xylem’s analytics brands serve numerous market segments, and among those segments the focus of the show this year will be on Wastewater, Surface Water, Food & Beverage, Life Science and Analytical Lab. Many of the brands that currently make up the Xylem Analytics portfolio will be exhibiting at Pittcon, and they will include YSI, OI Analytical, Bellingham + Stanley, WTW, SI Analytics, ebro, Global Water, Aanderaa, SonTek and the newest addition to the brand portfolio, MJK Automation.

Thanks to the strong brands and diverse market capabilities, the primary benefit to the customer is that Xylem can engage in a true problem/solution dialogue based on overall customer need or problem. Ultimately the discussion with the customer will lead to a specific product solution to solve the problem; therefore Xylem can provide a true comprehensive approach.

New Products
A number of Xylem brands will be launching new products at Pittcon 2013. Xylem’s YSI brand will be launching the new 2950 biochemistry analyzer for bioprocessing and life science applications. YSI will also be introducing the MultiLab IDS 4010 series of instruments and smart sensors, a new line of colorimeters that allow for quick, accurate field and lab analysis of several parameters, and the new pH1200 laboratory pH and temperature instrument that provides an economical solution for accurate measurements in the lab.

Xylem’s OI Analytical brand will introduce the CNSolution™ 9310 Online Cyanide Analyzer for analytical lab applications.

For the food and beverage and pharma/clinical segments, Xylem’s ebro brand will introduce the EBI 300 Series data loggers and the EBI 25 Wireless Monitoring System, which provides instant temperature data of storage conditions 24/7 and alerts you immediately when there is an issue.

Also for the food and beverage market, Xylem’s SI Analytics and Bellingham + Stanley brands will feature the Pro-Juice Refractometer and the TitroLine 6000/7000 titrators with the piston burette TITRONIC 500, which help fruit juice producers optimize and automate the orange juice production process.
