WHEATON is introducing its MicroLiter Certified Clean Vials to the European market at the 2015 International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques in Geneva, Switzerland.

Between the 21st and the 25th of June, visitors to Stand 47 will discover how MicroLiter Certified Clean Vials are designed to allow more reliable transfer of samples from the prep lab to the autosampler. Critical physical dimensions and chemical cleanliness are fully tested to ensure that no trace residues are present, with each vial cleaned and packaged in a certified Class 10,000 cleanroom using a process developed to eliminate vial-associated errors. Closures are supplied in sealed containers, and closure and septa cleanliness can be maintained using the unique MicroLiter Closure Dispenser to reduce handling. All vials have been checked for compatibility with specified autosamplers and are certified to ensure optimal performance and reproducible results, with easily downloadable documentation to verify cleanliness and dimensional consistency.

Wayne L. Brinster, CEO and President of WHEATON, said: “We strive to be the chromatography solution provider of choice, and are proud of the exceptional quality of our MicroLiter vials. Chromatography results are dependent on the sample being processed without the introduction of any outside interferences, and we are delighted to support our customers with these new Certified Clean Vials. Not only do we offer the only 10K production process and packaging program, we also make it easy to document the process with our new Vial Certification program.”

MicroLiter Chromatography / Autosampler Vials

WHEATON

MicroLiter was founded in 1996 to supply autosampler vials and consumables for the industry’s leading autosamplers. In 2012, MicroLiter became part of the WHEATON family of products.Since inception, MicroLiter has made the fundamental decision to only offer products that offered proven stable performance and to avoid those products that had a wide range of tolerances which could impede the performance of the autosampler. In addition to meeting the requirements of our customers, MicroLiter has formatted the vials in ways that allowed for the more efficient transfer of samples from the prep lab to the autosampler. MicroLiter and WHEATON realize that the autosampler vials we offer hold the most expensive solutions produced by the lab.MicroLiter Plate Sampling System™ for All Your Chromatography Needs MicroLiter has assembled the right products together to give you a comprehensive listing of the microplates that work best for chromatography. We’ve done our homework so you don’t have to. Before we listed any products, we made sure that we offered you a closure that works the same way you have been accustomed to when working with standard chromatography vials. Our patented MicroLiter Plate Sampling System™ of microplates, glass inserts, μLmats™ and / or caps with chromatography-based septa offer you secure vessels to maintain even the most volatile samples. Our polypropylene μLplates® have a variety of closures that will stabilize the sample during the analytical sample run and, if necessary, reseal after the sample has been injected. We also offer you the security of a stopper coupled with the strength of a patented mechanical closure system that seals the limited volume insert on the inside surface of the insert and compresses the PTFE / Silicone rubber using a mechanical seal so that even GC samples can be converted to 96-well format in our system of microplates. A variety of insert options lets you set the specifications appropriate for your application. MicroLiter can accept orders by phone (888.232.7840 / 770.932.6565) or via our website www.wheaton.com.

UHPLC and HPLCHigh performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC), also known as UPLC, are analytical techniques used to separate, identify and quantitate components of complex mixtures including biological samples such as proteins and lipids as well as chemical mixtures of pesticides, drugs and oils. Both techniques are liquid chromatographic methods but differ by operating pressures (HPLC < 6000 psi < UHPLC ). Components of HPLC and UHPLC systems include columns, detectors, pumps, autosamplers and column heaters. Explore a range of UHPLC and HPLC columns for your specific sample needs including reverse phase, normal phase, ion exchange, HILIC, ion exclusion and size exclusion columns. Products to assist sample preparation include filtration equipment, evaporators, membranes and sieves.LC-MSLC-MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) systems and equipment are used for separation and quantitative analysis of complex mixtures, combining liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. Quantify proteins, contaminants, pesticides or screen for drug metabolites with a high level of sensitivity. LC-MS systems and equipment include reverse phase, normal phase and specialized columns integrated with various MS detectors such as time-of-flight (TOF), quadrupole, orbitrap or ion trap mass analyzers. LC-MS/MS instruments equipped with a qTOF or triple quadrupole analyzer give greater sensitivity and resolving power to your analysis. Useful system features include high-throughput, automation, robotic arms, automated liquid handling and associated database systems. Accessories in sample management include barcode scanners, heat sealers and tubes.GC-MS GC-MS (gas chromatography-mass spectrometry) instruments and equipment are used to separate, quantify and identify mixtures of small and volatile compounds, such as polycyclic aromatics, fatty acids and alcohols. Often used in drug detection, forensic investigation and environmental analysis for pesticides and contaminants, GC-MS is a powerful addition to your lab’s analytical capabilities.
