Competition for NGS scientists to win a MagicPrep NGS system

Tecan has introduced the 'We can with Tecan' competition, which will recognize the ground-breaking achievements in the field of NGS and reward two winners with their very own MagicPrep™ NGS instruments. The competition is open to NGS-based scientists who are either currently conducting, or have recently completed, a cutting-edge research project in a field such as oncology, immunology, or infectious diseases. To enter, entrants need to submit a 500-word summary by June 2, 2023, detailing how NGS has been used to drive real-world benefits, and the winners will be informed on June 22, 2023.

The submissions will be reviewed by a multidisciplinary panel – with expertise in genomics, cellomics and proteomics – and scored on innovation, project design and execution, and the wider impact of the research, with the two highest scoring applications being declared the winners.

MagicPrep NGS is an automated platform that combines the instrumentation, software, pre-optimized scripts, reagents, and consumables needed for NGS library preparation into one simple solution. The winning research teams will benefit from reduced hands-on time, walkaway automation, and push-button simplicity. They will also have their trailblazing research showcased on Tecan’s website and social channels.
