Available from ESA Analytical Ltd. (Dorton, UK) the ZETALIF™ detector provides laboratories with the ability to monitor HPLC eluants down to unprecedented detection levels.

Offering sensitivity typically 100-1000 times that of traditional fluorescence detection, the ZETALIF detector can be used with virtually all commercially available HPLC systems. In combination with a fast HPLC system the ZETALIF detector uniquely delivers nanomolar to picomolar levels of detection, enhanced productivity and lower operating costs to the chromatography laboratory.

ZETALIF detection in combination with fast HPLC opens the door to new and demanding applications in pharmacology, neuroscience, molecular biology, toxicology and environmental trace analysis. The use of highly monochromatic laser sources in the ZETALIF provides the selectivity to detect trace levels of compounds of interest even in complex matrices.

Contrary to conventional fluorescence detectors, the unique flow cell design and the use of stable laser sources instead of conventional monochromators in the ZETALIF means it rarely needs recalibration. Incorporating a simple, robust optical design, which excludes moving parts, ensures high reliability. Offering measurement over a linear dynamic range of 3-4 orders of magnitude the ZETALIF may be easily operated by anyone with a basic understanding of HPLC.

UHPLC and HPLCHigh performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC), also known as UPLC, are analytical techniques used to separate, identify and quantitate components of complex mixtures including biological samples such as proteins and lipids as well as chemical mixtures of pesticides, drugs and oils. Both techniques are liquid chromatographic methods but differ by operating pressures (HPLC < 6000 psi < UHPLC ). Components of HPLC and UHPLC systems include columns, detectors, pumps, autosamplers and column heaters. Explore a range of UHPLC and HPLC columns for your specific sample needs including reverse phase, normal phase, ion exchange, HILIC, ion exclusion and size exclusion columns.
