Tri-Ark, one of the UK's leading suppliers of industrial pumps, has launched a new UK pump spares-only web site. This new site offers spare parts and accessories for diaphragm pumps, air operated pumps, rotary vane pumps and peristaltic pumps for next day delivery in the UK and Ireland.

Genuine manufacturer spares such as diaphragms, gaskets, seals, o-rings, valve balls and seats can be ordered for all the popular ranges, including SandPIPER, Wilden, Graco, ARO, Crane, Versa-Matic and Blagdon.

Searches can be made by part number or by manufacturer, and if the part number is not known, Tri-Ark's popular free "Call Me Back" facility provides direct access to one of Tri-Ark's pump spares technical experts who will be able to identify the part required, at a competitive price.

Tri-Ark Sales Director, David Rozee explained: "We set up this site in response to customer requests. Many of our customers will know the number of the part that they want, so they can check quickly and easily whether we have it in stock. If the part number isn't known, then clicking the 'Call Me Back' button on the website and entering a name and telephone number sends an immediate alert to our spares warehouse to enable a technical expert to call back to advise on the spare - at no cost to the customer!"

"We have established extremely favourable terms for our supply of pumps and spares and pass these on to our customers," he continued. "We believe our prices are the most competitive around and we're always prepared to discuss pricing in the unlikely event of a cheaper quote being received."

More than 25,000 stock items valued at over £500,000 are held in the company's UK warehouse. Same day dispatch is offered for all orders for stock items received before 4 PM. A fast turnaround can also be achieved on non-stock items.

Gas ChromatographyGas chromatography (GC) is an analytical technique used to separate and quantitate mixtures of small and volatile compounds. Gas chromatographs or GC systems include components such as GC columns, detectors, pumps and autosamplers. Choose from packed or capillary GC columns, flame ionization (FID), photoionization (PID) electron capture detectors and selective or non-selective detectors. Both techniques are liquid chromatographic methods but differ by operating pressures (HPLC < 6000 psi < UHPLC ). Components of HPLC and UHPLC systems include columns, detectors, pumps, autosamplers and column heaters. Explore a range of UHPLC and HPLC columns for your specific sample needs including reverse phase, normal phase, ion exchange, HILIC, ion exclusion and size exclusion columns. Products to assist sample preparation include filtration equipment, evaporators, membranes and sieves.Heating EquipmentA range of heating equipment is available for different laboratory applications including furnaces, ovens and hotplates. Furnace systems include vacuum furnaces and ultra-high temperature furnaces and ovens comprise of convection and vacuum ovens.FiltrationFiltration and microfiltration are used to separate solids, particulates or large molecules from fluids (liquid or gases) in order to purify the filtrate. Explore a range of filter formats, including filter paper, plates and membranes for your separation needs. While larger particulates may be separated by gravity filtration, smaller particulates may require additional force for timely separation. Microfiltration equipment includes vacuum filters, as well as positive pressure, crossflow and centrifugal filtration devices. Incubators are necessary equipment for cell culture and microbial research. Control temperature with heated or refrigerated incubators, or the levels of CO2 and oxygen with CO2 incubators. Using environmental chambers, create a humid climate for testing samples. It is useful for optimizing economical and efficient drug production. Process chemistry uses reactors and pump systems as well as reagents, standards and buffers.PumpsLaboratory pumps are devices used to move liquids and gases by vacuum or positive displacement. The pressures/vacuums generated are determined by the type of pump used. High vacuum pumps include diffusion, ion, roots and turbopumps; for primary/medium vacuum applications see rotary vane pumps, scroll & diaphragm pumps. For the positive displacement of liquids explore a range of syringe and peristaltic pumps, as well as fluid aspirators.
