Titian Software will be exhibiting its renowned modular sample management software, Mosaic™, at the Society for Laboratory Automation & Screening (SLAS) conference and exhibition, 4th – 8th February, San Diego, California. Mosaic sample management software allows compounds and biological samples to be efficiently tracked and monitored within any sample storage and handling system. Mosaic minimizes human error in sample preparation and simplifies operations within the lab, while improving sample preservation. The software tracks vials, microtubes and plates, and implements a chain of custody for the handling of the sample according to the requested order type. Many sample types are managed simultaneously, with configurable details such as freeze-thaw cycles recorded against containers, and sample consent parameters recorded against individual samples.
