Thermo Fisher Scientific Expands Water Purification Portfolio with the Barnstead GenPure xCAD Plus

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, has launched the Thermo Scientific Barnstead GenPure xCAD Plus water purification system, featuring advanced technology that allows simultaneous dispensing from three remote dispensers for exceptional flexibility and ease of use in shared laboratory environments. Additionally, the company announced enhancements to its existing systems.

In addition to its advanced dispensing technology, the innovative Thermo Scientific Barnstead GenPure xCAD Plus is easy to use and comes with leak detection, feed water monitoring, and all consumables needed to get started, allowing for simple ordering and setup.

“Today’s laboratories are often shared spaces, and we have strived to meet the demands put on researchers in these environments,” said Julie Akana, product manager, water purification for Thermo Fisher Scientific. “The Thermo Scientific Barnstead GenPure xCAD Plus addresses the need for flexibility and ease of operation by offering advanced functionality, such as full control of the remote dispenser and the ability to dispense simultaneously from three dispensers.”

Additionally, the Thermo Scientific Barnstead GenPure Pro, now available in North America and Latin America, features flexible dispensing, feed water monitoring, leak detection, volumetric dispensing, and an advanced controller. The Thermo Scientific Barnstead Smart2Pure, LabTower EDI, LabTower RO, LabTower TII and Pacific TII water purification systems all now feature an optional hand dispenser.
