The uniquely innovative design has all the features necessary to ensure successful synthesis or reaction clean-up using flow chemistry. The system is easy to use and potentially much faster than conventional systems. The innovative design also ensures precise control of temperature conditions throughout the entire working area of the reactor.

The R-4 was developed to accommodate chemist’s needs for rapid scale-up for which flow chemistry is ideally suited. Heat exchangers, incorporating either tube or column type reactors, are simply plugged into the heater unit; in this way, changes to the reactor configuration can be made quickly and easily. Once the set up is complete, the R-4 can be switched to heat the reactors, a large LED display clearly indicates the temperature of each reaction and shows whether it is heating or cooling
