Tecan is pleased to be the main sponsor of the fourth annual Drug Discovery conference and will displaying a range of products, including a second Freedom EVO workstation, incorporating the REM e System from 454 Life Sciences in conjunction with a MultiChannel Arm™ 384 and the TouchTools Suite™. Tecan will also be be working with Miltenyi Biotec to develop a range of automated solutions for cell biology.

This highly informative conference will provide scientists working in early-phase drug discovery with an opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the drug discovery sector. Building on the success of the 2009 meeting, delegates will again have the chance to hear from a range of world class speakers and opinion leaders, complemented by a poster session, a vendor exhibition and a number of practical training sessions.

A second Freedom EVO workstation, incorporating a the REM e System from 454 Life Sciences in conjunction with a MultiChannel Arm™ 384, will also be on display, offering a complete solution for automation of emPCR enrichment in the GS FLX Titanium workflow.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see Tecan’s TouchTools Suite™ in action and the HydroFlex™ 3-in-1 microplate washer will be on display. Microplate detection and separation will be represented by the Infinite® family of multimode microplate readers, including the Infinite 200 PRO, Infinite F500 and the M1000.
