Symyx Technologies, Inc., a global leader in helping companies maximize the effectiveness and success of their R&D programs, today announced new software releases for its Process and Formulations electronic lab notebooks (ELN). The new releases support both cumulative and pre-blend formulation types. These software products are available immediately.

The Symyx Process and Formulations ELNs are part of a series of Symyx Software offerings which include electronic lab notebook applications tailored to meet the specific needs and protocols of chemists in the discovery, process, analytical, formulations and bioprocess functions. For enterprise-wide deployments, the Symyx ELN integrates with the Symyx Vault document management platform. Symyx Vault, also used in other Symyx notebook applications, provides a single, comprehensive platform for ELN documents that can span the entire R&D organization. With the Vault platform, Symyx ELN software supports document browsing and searching, enterprise-level security and auditing, and a configurable and highly flexible document workflow.
