Reflecting their commitment to this region Integra Biosciences has selected the forthcoming ArabLab 2008 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, Dubai, UAE (10-13th February 2008) to showcase its complete range of high quality laboratory products.

The rapidly developing infrastructure of the Middle East and Asia has resulted in an exceptionally high level of new and re-furbished Medical Laboratory and Clinical Research facilities throughout the region. Visitors to stand 556, located in the Swiss Pavilion, will have the chance to see and discuss with technical specialists from INTEGRA Biosciences solutions to the challenges faced by their laboratories.

For hospitals and labs involved quality control of foodstuff or water - the Petri dish pourer MEDIAJET and its TUBEFILLER accessory offer truly reliable automated preparation of microbiological media. The MEDIAJET vario enables automated filling of up to 540 Petri Dishes at the push of a button. The TUBEFILLER seamlessly expands the functionality of the MEDIAJET vario to provide continuous processing of test tube racks. For 16mm tubes, each filled with 10 ml of media, it takes less than 1 hour to fill 1000 tubes.

Also on display will be the popular DOSE-IT - an easy-to-use and compact peristaltic pump that allows you to efficiently dispense liquids in a wide range of applications. An intuitive multilingual user interface, coupled with large ergonomically designed display and keypad, makes the DOSE IT pump extremely simple to program and operate. The setting of all functions and parameters is self-explanatory so that even infrequent users can start working right away.

At this important meeting, INTEGRA Biosciences will also be displaying its popular PIPETBOY range including the PIPETBOY comfort a colour coordinated feather-light precision pipette and the VACUSAFE comfort - an aspiration system for the safe and easy disposal of hazardous liquids. For laboratories tasked with sterilisation and sample heating applications requiring precision, flexibility and high operational safety INTEGRA Biosciences will exhibit its FIREBOY range of mobile safety Bunsen burners.
