The new CyBi®-Drop offers a variety of impressive innovations for the automation of cell assays, which have been specifically developed for the purpose of protection of cells during dispensing. An important feature is the integrated cell circulation, that holds the cells in suspension before dispensing and thus avoids cell sedimentation effects. Through the unique combination of cell circulation and patented dispensing technology, the cells will be distributed evenly and without mechanical stress into the microplate. Giving reproducible results every time.

The new dispensing combs of the CyBi®-Drop enable highest precision and accuracy with a wide range of liquids. Depending on the application, they can be exchanged by the users themselves. A variety of liquids such as reagents, proteins, organic solvents and cells will thus be dispensed ideally.

With the user-friendly software an automated volume adjustment is possible as well as the individual setting of dispensing parameters by the user himself. This allows the dispensing of reagents onto an adherent cell monolayer without disrupting it during the dispensing.

For more complex applications, the CyBi®-Drop can be combined as a compact platform with multi-channel pipettors of the CyBi®-Well family as well as with the new CyBi®-WellFlex. This system was presented at MipTec 2008 in Switzerland and has already aroused great interest there among the show visitors.
