Sensorex’s PH-1 and SAM-1 Turns iPhone®, iPad and Now Androids into Portable pH Meters

Sensorex developed its industry-first mobile accessory for pH measurements. Compatible with Apple™ iPod®, iPhone® and iPad® devices, the PH-1 pH meter accessory measures and records pH values, delivering hands on measurement experience in the lab or field. The free Sensorex app displays pH, millivolts, ambient temperature and solution temperature in real time.

The CE marked devices supports 1, 2, 3, or more calibration points and stores and can send readings by email for later analysis. When used with a GPS-enabled device, the pH meter app will record measurements with both timestamp and geographic coordinates, eliminating transcription errors and improving efficiency. Its pH measurement range is 0-14 pH and it operates in ambient temperatures of 0-40° C, in solutions of 0-100° C. Data history can be grouped by date or location and exported individually or in .csv format via email. The next generation SAM1 (Smart Aqua Meter) will be previewed and available later in the year. It will be compatible with iPhones, iPads and newer android smartphones and tablets. The SAM1 will feature smart electrodes from Sensorex increasing measurement parameter scope.
