Product news

A free calibration visit from a qualified HACH LANGE engineer? Have they gone mad? There must be a catch?!

Well, it seems not; HACH LANGE says that all you have to do is purchase two packs of their high quality reagents for every free calibration...and you are probably buying them already!

This offer applies to the market leading HACH LANGE Spectrophotometers (DR2000, DR2010, DR2400 & DR2500) and will run until 31st July 2007. It is only available to UK mainland customers. A certificate will be provided for calibrated instruments, thereby validating results for the subsequent 12 months.

UK Lab Sales Manager Matthew Dillon says “Two reagent packs would cost very little, so a free calibration visit will be very attractive to large numbers of UK laboratories. We anticipate a massive demand for this offer and customers will be responded to on a first-come, first-served basis. HACH spectrophotometers have been market leaders for many years because of their reliability and accuracy, however, a calibration visit will help to ensure that testing remains of the highest quality.”

UV-Visible SpectroscopyUltraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometers are used to measure the interaction of UV and visible light with a sample, including transmission, reflectance & absorbance. The two major instrument classes are single-beam or double-beam spectrophotometers. More specialized equipment includes colorimeters, spectroradiometers and refractometers. Portable and microvolume spectrophotometers are also available. For the modular spectroscopy lab, explore a range of light sources for combination with a spectrograph/spectrometer and optics. Useful features of analyzers such as BOD and COD include portability, easy calibration, automation and sensitivity.  Environmental test kits for pH, water, moisture, etc, should be accurate, sensitive, reliable, fast and easy to use.
