SAFC SUPPLY SOLUTIONS LAUNCHES OFFER FOR DIAGNOSTICS MANUFACTURERS

SAFC, a member of the Sigma-Aldrich Group, has announced a major enhancement to its Diagnostics initiative, concentrating on providing high-quality customized services, including custom formulation, manufacturing and packaging solutions, to the in vitro Diagnostics (IVD) manufacturing industry through its SAFC Supply Solutions Diagnostics segment.

The Diagnostics initiative will highlight SAFC as a significant, total supply chain provider to the IVD and contract OEM manufacturing industry, combining customized raw material manufacturing, specialized packaging, analytical testing, quality assurance, compliance and just-in-time delivery through a single resource designed especially to meet the demands of the Diagnostics industry.

Contract and OEM manufacturing of IVD products will be performed in SAFC’s cGMP manufacturing and packaging facility located in St. Louis, Missouri. This facility conforms to 21 CFR 820, is ISO 13485 certified for medical device manufacturing and has a long history of IVD manufacturing paired with the quality assurance expertise required to meet the demands of the industry.
