Product news

Designed to operate with all popular makes of stirring hotplate, the affordable Heat-On™ heating blocks from Radleys offer a rapid and safe means of heating round bottom flasks from 10ml to 5 litres.

Offering a simple and elegant way of eliminating the inherent mess and safety issues associated with using oil baths and heating mantles, a growing number of laboratories have adopted Heat-On blocks as their preferred way of conducting heated reactions.

Heat-On blocks are extremely quick to set-up and offer rapid heating and cooling of reactions resulting in significant improvements in productivity. All Heat-On blocks are manufactured from solid aluminium, providing even heat transfer to the entire block, preventing hot spots. Heat-On blocks feature a unique deep well shape proven to avoid sticking and cracking of flasks and also maximising the heating surface area further contributing to faster heat-up. Heat-On blocks are available with an optional fluoropolymer coating providing excellent chemical resistance.

As well as providing up to 66% faster heat-up than traditional heating blocks the advanced design of Heat-On blocks uses 30% less energy to achieve the same results, saving money and reducing the environmental impact of your experiments.
