The Acusera range of internal quality controls is extensive covering over 350 parameters. The availability of multi-analyte controls allows laboratories to reduce the number of separate controls required thus facilitating effective consolidation. For example our immunoassay premium plus control covers 54 parameters in total including routine tumor markers, therapeutic drugs and Vitamin D in addition to clinically relevant concentrations of Ferritin, TSH and Vitamin B12.

As true third party controls they can be used alongside any manufacturer’s reagent or instrument to provide an independent, unbiased assessment of analytical performance. Our unique value assignment process employs over 23,000 independent laboratories making Randox the only true supplier of third party controls and ensures accurate and reliable target values are available for most methods and instruments.

Acusera 24.7 Live Online is a new web based inter-laboratory data management system designed specifically to complement the Acusera range of controls. The programme provides access to peer group data generated from thousands of independent laboratories and aims to improve the effectiveness of quality control processes within the clinical laboratory whilst also helping to interpret QC results.

In addition to internal quality control Randox can also offer RIQAS (Randox International Quality Assessment Scheme) the largest international EQA scheme in the world with over 23,000 participants in more than 105 countries.
