Randox Announces Major U.S. Contract with Novation

Randox to supply leading health care company with third party quality controls

Randox Laboratories has further expanded its market presence in the United States, having been awarded a major supplier agreement with Novation, the leading health care supply chain expertise, analytics and contracting company.

The contract means Randox third party quality control products, which are widely considered to be the most accurate in the world, will now be readily available to hospital organizations across the U.S. The new contract with Novation also makes Randox the sole NOVAPLUS® manufacturer of third party controls. NOVAPLUS is the leading private-label brand of products for hospitals and offers organizations supported by Novation the best contract value on items health care organizations purchase the most.

Randox is one of the largest manufacturers of third party quality control products in the world. Quality Control is the bedrock of patient blood testing as it helps laboratories assure accuracy in their testing procedures. If errors occur during testing, this can result in misdiagnosis and inappropriate or delayed treatment, which ultimately can be life threatening for the patient.

Novation is the leading health care supply chain expertise, analytics and contracting company for the more than 100,000 members of VHA Inc. and UHC, two national health care alliances, Children's Hospital Association, an alliance of the nation's leading pediatric facilities, and Provista, LLC.
