Dedicated British autoclave manufacturer Priorclave has announced the launch of Wi-Fi connectivity Bee Live. This will be available as a service upgrade to all Priorclave laboratory and research sterilizers currently in use and fitted with the extremely versatile Tactrol^® 2 controller.

The Bee Live upgrade will provide immediate connectivity to a variety of Wi-Fi enabled devices such as Smart phones, tablets, iPads and laptops. It provides laboratory staff an opportunity to remotely monitor sterilizing parameters during the processing cycle. Bee Live also allows authorized personnel a facility to alter, re-set programmed parameters and provide diagnostics for servicing.

Typical Screen Views are:

Overview Screen – presents live information on the current Priorclave autoclave, showing the user what stage of the cycle the run is currently at.
Current screen - shows all the current settings and whether they are enabled or disabled.
Time screen - allows the user to set date, time and a delayed start if required.
Set up screen - allows the operator to change the settings in the current program. Each setting can be disabled and enabled, the dwell time and free-steaming time also can be altered.
Usage screen - shows how much water and electricity has been used on a daily and monthly basis.

Autoclaves from the comprehensive Priorclave range fitted with the Tactrol^® 2 controller are currently being used in of host of different working environments throughout pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, dairy, food, education and the utility sectors. Models include benchtop autoclaves and compact top loading sterilizers with chambers up to 60 litre as well as front loading, pass-through, power door and stackable in capacities from 100 litre to in excess of 7500 litres.

RSV Power Door Autoclaves

Priorclave Rectangular Section Power Door autoclaves combine a huge internal capacity with a small floor area.Where laboratory space is at a premium and there is a need to sterilise tall, extra bulk items the RSV range of POWER DOOR autoclaves from Priorclave may prove the perfect answer since the pressure door moves vertically within the autoclave frame, eliminating need to allow space for conventional door swing at the front of the autoclave.Four models make up this highly versatile front-loading RSV range with chamber sizes from 230 to 700 litres. A design advantage of the RSV range is a fixed gasket onto which the chamber door closes. When raised and in line with the chamber opening the pressure door automatically moves forward directly onto the seal to create an air-tight lock, this action prevents undue wear on the fixed seal.Although easy access to chamber is gained using Push-Button controls, inherent safety features prevent door opening during sterilising cycles and at high temperatures and pressures, a special STAYPUT locking geometry keeps the chamber door fully locked. QCS Front Loading Autoclaves

The QCS EH range of energy-efficient laboratory and research grade autoclave available in three chamber sizes of 100, 150 and 200 litre each featuring a large, spacious 500mm diameter chamber, believed to be largest currently available for this size of autoclave. This enables increased loading over alternative designs and will often override the need to invest in a larger, more costly rectangular steriliser. The QCS front-loading autoclaves was introduced to meet the requirements of lab managers and research institutions looking specifically for an autoclave with a high loading capacity but a limited on available floor space. It also boasts several safety features including a single-handed, door opening mechanism that only releases when temperatures and pressures are at pre-set safe levels. The door is also fitted with a tough silicone seal that, with its extended life, ensures an air-tight seal every time for the ultimate in steam sterilization. Precise control of the sterilizing process is made easy using single push-buttons on the Tactrol® microprocessor control panel. One touch controls enable the user to step through settings of temperature and time in accordance with best practices for specified loads. In addition to guiding laboratory personnel through the simple programming, the intuitive Tactrol® microprocessor also keeps a log of the sterilizing cycle data such as temperature, pressure and time. Held in an archive file, this information can be subsequently downloaded for analysing and sharing, as needed.
