Primerdesign appoints Scientific Laboratory Supplies as academic UK distributor

Primerdesign (part of the Novacyt Group) has signed a distribution agreement with Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS). Under the agreement, SLS will supply Primerdesign’s real-time PCR assays, reagents and workflows for rapid pathogen detection to academic research institutions in the UK. The partnership with SLS will help to strengthen Primerdesign’s presence across UK academia, expanding market reach and accessibility to meet growing demand.

Improved distribution through SLS’ network of academic research institutes and universities provides scientists with easier access to Primerdesign’s comprehensive range of more than 1,200 quantitative PCR (qPCR) assays and reagents, which are designed to deliver consistent and accurate results.
The company’s portfolio covers a range of different applications, including human health, animal and veterinary, food, water and agriculture pathogen kits that enable researchers to improve health outcomes, ensure food safety and integrity of supply chain, and enhance the well-being of pets, animals and livestock.
