The new atomizing nozzles from miniature component specialists LEE PRODUCTS are designed to generate a 50° cone spray pattern and offer precise, controlled atomization in the most compact package. They are available in both airless and air-assisted styles with multiple flow ranges and are designed to be installed directly onto a Lee VHS micro-dispense valve for precise flow control using pulse-width modulation (PWM).
The airless version nozzles, which generate a 50° hollow cone spray, do not require an external air supply and will atomize with pressures as low as 20 psi (on water). The standard airless atomizing nozzles feature an all-stainless steel construction, with 6-40 threads designed to work with the Lee 062 MINSTAC® fitting system.
The air-assisted versions provide a 50° solid cone spray pattern and utilize an external air source to control the atomization, allowing lower fluid operating pressures (as low as 5 psi). The pressure of the liquid and the air can be independently controlled to fine-tune the flow rate and nozzle performance. Atomizing nozzles with special mounting configurations and PEEK wetted materials are also available as special designs. Lee Products can also supply these as single orifice nozzles for droplet dispensing, and VHS micro-dispensing development kits which include the valving, nozzles, safety screen, spike/hold driver and tubing for micro-dispensing.

Lee Products Ltd.Lee offers a wide range of nozzles capable of providing either a precise droplet or atomized fluid. Several mounting styles allow these nozzles to be incorporated directly onto our VHS dispensing valves, or to be connected to valves using soft flexible tubing. Dispense nozzles are available in straight tubes or with jeweled orifices (allowing tighter droplet control). Mounting styles include: 062 MINSTAC 062 MINSTAC w/ HEX nut Straight tube for use with soft tubing Dispensing Nozzles Lee dispensing nozzles with 062 threads mount into any Lee 062 MINSTAC boss. This allows the nozzle to be mounted directly onto our VHS micro-dispensing valves. Direct mounting reduces the overall package size and the fluid volume between the nozzle and valve sealing point. This reduced volume decreases the fluid reaction time (time from when the valve opens until the fluid exits the nozzle). This will also allow flow control using PWM (pulse width modulation). Atomizing Nozzles Lee atomizing nozzles are offered in both air assisted and airless designs. The airless design provides atomization at relatively low pressure (15 psi) without the need for an external air source. These are offered in a 062 MINSTAC mounting style.
