The new ultra-rugged and truly portable LabSpec® 2500 / 2600 series is the very latest in portable post-dispersive visible and near infrared spectrophotometers.

The LabSpec® 2500 / 2600 series has a spectral range of 350-2500 nm utilising a modular system comprising up to 3 spectrometers working simultaneously. This combines with Ethernet connectivity, optional wireless functionality, a highly ruggedised package with non-slip, urethane end-caps, and flexible temperature operating parameters for reliability even in the most extreme environments. In addition to ASD’s Indico™ Pro software, the LabSpec® 2500 / 2600 series includes a streamlined compatibility with LabVIEW® software for total flexibility in control of the spectrometer. The new series also offers enhanced remote diagnostics, embedded Remote Trigger port, and the latest NIR Cooled InGaAs TurboScanner™ detector technology. LabSpec® 2600 is the higher resolution version of the series.

The LabSpec® 2500 / 2600 Series is a rapid, non-destructive, post-dispersive style system with extremely low stray-light and excellent signal-to-noise for more robust qualitative and quantitative applications. Industry standard SMA 905 fibre optic connectors and a wide array of sampling accessories offer maximum flexibility, making LabSpec® 2500 and 2600 spectrometers incredibly powerful tools for a wide range of application requirements.

Key and unique benefits include:-

  • Extended wavelength range includes visible, 350-2500nm
  • 100 milliseconds for complete scan
  • Post dispersive optics enable sample measurement spot/area to be easily visualised
  • Research grade performance in a truly portable package. No compromise
  • Industry standard fibre optic connectors provide limitless measurement flexibility

The two major instrument classes are single-beam or double-beam spectrophotometers. More specialized equipment includes colorimeters, spectroradiometers and refractometers. Portable and microvolume spectrophotometers are also available. For the modular spectroscopy lab, explore a range of light sources for combination with a spectrograph/spectrometer and optics.
