Peak Protected, the service brand of laboratory gas generation specialists Peak Scientific, have launched a new product offering called Supported Maintenance.

The objective is to give greater flexibility to labs with internal maintenance teams who have the technical know-how to carry out the preventative maintenance of the lab’s gas generators as well as other laboratory instruments.

As with all machinery containing moving parts, gas generators require preventative maintenance to keep them operating at their best. Regular maintenance will ensure continued optimum performance and lengthen operating lifespan. Many labs in institutions such as hospitals, universities and large scale research facilities contain the expertise and knowledgeable employees capable of performing preventative maintenance for the majority of laboratory equipment. Peak Scientific has now given these sites the option to utilise this resource to service their laboratory gas generation systems for models which do not contain an internal air compressor.

Supported Maintenance brings numerous benefits such as, cost-effectiveness, a 10% discount on any additional parts out-with the service kit and a hassle-free scheduling service operated by Peak. This means Peak send the preventative maintenance kit to the generator’s site automatically when maintenance is due alongside clear technical instruction of how to perform the maintenance safely and proficiently.

In addition to the new Supported Maintenance service offering, Peak Protected has also launched a new Elite Kit. The Elite Kit contains all the parts required to perform maintenance on the all the components within the generator including compressor based systems.
