Visit Pall Laboratory at the ASMS 2016 conference in San Antonio, TX and talk with product specialists to learn more about our range of products for analytical sample prep.

Over forty years ago, Pall Laboratory revolutionized sample preparation for analytical chemists with the development of the Acrodisc® syringe filter. At Pall we are constantly looking for new ways to expand our product offering to meet your needs and ease your application challenges. Our product innovations are the result of understanding your applications and valuing the contributions your work can make to the quality of all our lives.

Whether you are pursuing goals in life science, pharmaceutical methods, research and development, quality control, or specialty environmental applications, we commit to not only deliver a product that works, but to look beyond what simply works and deliver a product that truly makes a difference.

Pall has maintained a leadership position through continuous innovation. The LC-MS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry) syringe filter from Pall Laboratory is the first filter certified for low extractables in high performance liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC-MS) applications. The Acrodisc MS syringe filter supports analytical customers performing HPLC or UHPLC applications by minimizing the risk of ion suppression/enhancement in order to support reliable, accurate results and reduce the need for retesting. Designed specifically for small sample analysis using LC-MS, the 13 mm Acrodisc MS syringe filter improves the accuracy of testing, enhances LC-MS performance, and extends the longevity of testing instrumentation.

UHPLC and HPLCHigh performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC), also known as UPLC, are analytical techniques used to separate, identify and quantitate components of complex mixtures including biological samples such as proteins and lipids as well as chemical mixtures of pesticides, drugs and oils. Both techniques are liquid chromatographic methods but differ by operating pressures (HPLC < 6000 psi < UHPLC ). Components of HPLC and UHPLC systems include columns, detectors, pumps, autosamplers and column heaters. Explore a range of UHPLC and HPLC columns for your specific sample needs including reverse phase, normal phase, ion exchange, HILIC, ion exclusion and size exclusion columns. For more specialized HPLC, explore FPLC, countercurrent LC and simulated moving bed systems. Products to assist sample preparation include filtration equipment, evaporators, membranes and sieves.LC-MSLC-MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) systems and equipment are used for separation and quantitative analysis of complex mixtures, combining liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. Quantify proteins, contaminants, pesticides or screen for drug metabolites with a high level of sensitivity. LC-MS systems and equipment include reverse phase, normal phase and specialized columns integrated with various MS detectors such as time-of-flight (TOF), quadrupole, orbitrap or ion trap mass analyzers. LC-MS/MS instruments equipped with a qTOF or triple quadrupole analyzer give greater sensitivity and resolving power to your analysis. It provides detailed information about the structure, composition, and properties of compounds and is widely used across fields such as environmental monitoring, materials science, drug discovery and development, food and beverage testing, and wider chemical research. Key MS techniques include tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS), liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LS-MS) and inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS). Choosing from these wide range of techniques and technologies can be a daunting task, so keep up to date with scientific applications, performance expectations, and customer reviews here all in one place. FiltrationFiltration and microfiltration are used to separate solids, particulates or large molecules from fluids (liquid or gases) in order to purify the filtrate. Explore a range of filter formats, including filter paper, plates and membranes for your separation needs. While larger particulates may be separated by gravity filtration, smaller particulates may require additional force for timely separation. Microfiltration equipment includes vacuum filters, as well as positive pressure, crossflow and centrifugal filtration devices.
