It is accessible for novice flow cytometry users yet flexible enough for experienced professionals, and offers an ideal combination of high-throughput screening and high parameter cell analysis capabilities. The ZE5 Cell Analyzer now comes with FCS Express from DeNovo Software, the premier provider of research and clinical cytometry data analysis solutions. This powerful combination allows users to move from basic to advanced high dimensional data reduction with ease.

The ZE5 Cell Analyzer is used for infectious disease research including immune mechanism monitoring and for studying host response and defense mechanisms. Its advanced technology has been key in the fight against COVID-19. Capable of detecting down to 0.2 µm in cell size, running at 100,000 events per sec with washes and low carryover, and benefiting from an established publication catalog in infectious diseases, the ZE5 Cell Analyzer gives you brighter insights. To advance your research even further, Bio-Rad offers a portfolio of infectious disease antibodies and key immunology markers conjugated to the new StarBright Dyes which give exceptional brightness, even from rare and dim populations.

Looking to run large-scale multiplex assays? With its high-throughput-ready hardware and software, agnostic API, and options for upgrading the external fluidics, the ZE5 Cell Analyzer is the long-awaited solution for high productivity, superior performance, and flexibility. The demands of therapeutic development, antibody screening, and biomarker discovery are met with the ZE5 Cell Analyzer’s high-throughput, and high-parametric flow analysis interfaced with robotic automation.

Break bottlenecks with the ZE5 Cell Analyzer.

StarBright Violet 515 (SBV515) Dye

Bio-Rad

Excitable by the violet 405 nm laser and emitting at 515 nm, StarBright Violet 515 (SBV515) Dye is a perfect replacement for fluorophores that have emission maxima between 500 and 550 nm, such as Pacific Orange, Krome Orange, vioGreen, and Brilliant Violet 510, which can all be detected with a 525/50 filter (or similar) in your flow cytometry experiments. Minimal excitation by other lasers and a narrow emission profile make StarBright Violet 515 the perfect dye for inclusion in multicolor panels. StarBright Violet 515 Dye is also compatible with spectral flow cytometry and has a unique profile allowing incorporation into new and existing flow cytometry panels.

AntibodiesAntibodies are used in techniques such as confocal and fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, immunohistochemistry, western blotting and immunopreciptation. Select specific antigen reactivity, high specific affinity, low non-specific binding, monoclonal or polyclonal, primary or secondary antibodies and associated conjugates such as an enzyme or dye for visualization.Flow Cytometry / Cell CountingFlow cytometers are used to count, sort and examine multiple characteristics of cells. Other cell analysis equipment includes image cytometers, cell counters, fluorescence-activated cell sorters (FACS), magnetic-activated cell sorters (MACS), and a range of flow cytometry assay kits. Flow cytometers can reveal information on cell viability, cell proliferation, apoptosis and cell cycle progression, as well as identify cell populations and intracellular or cell-surface molecules. Additionally, some flow cytometers, known as FACS, have an additional sorting function after analysis. Cell counters and image cytometers count live and dead cell populations and can also conduct cell proliferation assays. Find the best flow cytometers, cell counters and cell sorters in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.ImmunologyImmunological techniques measure and characterize immune responses. Immunology kits and analysis systems often use techniques such as ELISA, radioimmunoassay (RIA) and immunodiffusion assays, Immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. Immunologists use equipment such as flow Cytometers, plate readers, plate washers and fluorescent microscopes.Flow CytometryInfectious DiseaseInfectious disease diagnostics refers to the isolation and identification of causative agents, such as viruses, bacteria or fungi. Diagnostic tests include bacterial culture, microscopy, chemistry assays, molecular diagnostics and MALDI-TOF. Tests can be carried out in the laboratory or at the point-of-care.Covid-19COVID-19, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has led to a global health crisis with profound impacts on societies and economies. Research into diagnostics, vaccines, treatments, and understanding viral mechanisms continues to evolve. The pandemic has accelerated innovations in healthcare and biopharmaceuticals, including novel vaccine platforms and rapid testing technologies. Browse our peer-reviewed product directory to find top COVID-19 testing kits, research tools, vaccines, and treatments, compare products, read reviews, and receive direct pricing from manufacturers.MultiplexingMultiplexing refers to the ability to measure multiple targets or analytes simultaneously in a single experiment. This technique is valuable for high-throughput screening, diagnostics, and complex assays, as it increases efficiency and data quality. Browse our peer-reviewed product directory to find the best multiplexing products, compare tools, check reviews, and get pricing directly from manufacturers.
